We have just started offering our house after three years with great success of private luxury rentals.
Located just outside Hveragerði on the southern region, a small town 30 minutes away from Reykjavik and close to the Golden Circle. Hveragerði has a grocery store, wine store, some wonderful swimming pools and many great hiking trails.
Our luxurious home and calm environment leaves you with the feeling of complete serenity.
Perfect for large families or friends getting together. Our property includes a main house and guest house sleeping 12 in total, fully equipped with high speed WiFi, SONOS Sound System, Apple TV and Netflix.

Summary: The house was a perfect size for our family of 10 (ages 21-84) during out winter trip to Iceland. The location was great to visit all the sites (Golden Circle, South Coast, Reykjavik). There was lots of relaxing space and the bedrooms were a good size. We appreciated the fireplace, dining table for 10, and the guest house. Please know that one of the bathrooms does not have a standard shower and the kitchen is very tight for a large party. Communication with the owner was outstanding. We loved our stay.

Summary: We rented the house as a Christmas getaway for 8 adults to relax and hopefully see the northern lights. No luck on the northern lights but the host, house, and location were all perfect! The hot tub on the river and the wood burning fireplace were winter highlights for us with the house. We also appreciated the proximity to the nearby geothermal area. We would definitely stay again!

Summary: Our group of 11 had a great time at this property. We saw the northern lights from the jacuzzi that we enjoyed nightly. The food and people in town were lovely. I would highly recommend this property.

Summary: Facilities were perfect for our diverse group of 11. Beautiful location along a river and close to town making it easy to see the sights and shop for supplies with plenty of restaurants available. Also, hosts were always available and more than willing to answer questions.

Summary: It was such a beautiful and relaxing property. The house was as advertised and then some! The beds were so comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed. The hot tub was fantastic. All the areas of the house to hang out in. The area surrounding the house was beautiful to explore with a waterfall close along the hiking trails. The town was cute and had great food options as well as a grocery store. The property was perfectly situated to everything our family wanted to do. The host, Kristin was responsive to any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Summary: We had an excellent stay in Hveragerdi in Kristin's lovely quiet home on the river Varma. There were many indoor and outdoor options for us, lots of space for 4 couples and the how tub by the river was perfect! The village and trails are minutes away on foot and it's a quiet beautiful location!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful home. It was a great size for our party. The beds were extremely comfortable.
